Dr. Khaled Barakat, CEO of Thoth Biosimulations, delivered a joint keynote alongside Professor François Jean at the UBC Science Research Mixer in Vancouver.

The presentation highlighted the ongoing collaboration between Thoth Biosimulations and Professor Jean’s virology lab, focused on the discovery of broad-spectrum antiviral inhibitors targeting WHO-priority viruses. The keynote showcased how AI-MedCraft, Thoth’s generative AI platform, is accelerating antiviral drug development by combining deep learning with structural biology and real-world virology expertise.
